Using Visual Aids to Learn

My students need an LCD HD television to aid them in their learning.

I teach in East New York in a high need school. I am consistently seeking ways in which I can engage all of my learners in the classroom. I believe a television will be a great tool to attract and motivate my kindergarten students. Many of my students are visual learners. When a book with pictures can do the work, I find educational videos can be used moderately to cement learning. A lesson needs to be taught/reinforced several times for my students with learning difficulties. A television will be used to show educational videos to reinforce what they have learned. The classroom computer can be linked to the television to teach a small group as well. With this donation, you have the opportunity to motivate today's students towards obtaining academic prosperity. My kindergarten students will use this exposure to expand their ideas learned in the class and gain an interest in further use of technology.
