Using TPT to Enhance Distance Learning!

Help me give my students access to digital math, reading & writing, social justice, and anti-racism materials from Teacher Pay Teacher (TPT) to enhance distance learning and connect to other resources.

My Students

My students are always excited and eager to learn new things. Our classroom consists of a diverse group of students with varying disabilities including ADHD, specific learning disabilities, behavior difficulties and cognitive delays. Due to COVID-19, students were given a technology device to stay engaged. I have an inquisitive group of students, who are always eager to work with technology.

They attend a Title I school where they all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.

My students and families have been trying their absolute best to continue learning at home, but young children need a wide variety of stimulating, hands-on activities to continue to develop reading and math skills. I’ve used video conferencing, interactive educational websites and hand on materials.

They deserve to continue to learn and to continue to work on the IEP goals while they are home. It’s so important we continue to address their needs while they are not in the classroom!

My Project

My students need a wide range of materials to learn new ideas and concepts. The COVID-19 pandemic has robbed my little learners of the materials they need to keep learning. My scholars need digital math, reading & writing, social injustice and anti-racism materials to stay engaged.

By having these digital resources my students will be able to work on their math, and literacy skills.

In addition, funding this project will allow students to be engaged with materials that will help students explore racial and cultural awareness, human diversity, empowerment, unfairness, and so much more including how to accept their differences and to love themselves.

I am asking for materials from the website Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT). Materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are aligned to Common Core standards. I will select materials to help my students with math, reading & writing skills, social injustice and anti-racism materials. Students will access the materials online and when possible they can get get hard copies to use at home.

These resources will allow me to differentiate instruction for each student to help meet their current IEP goals. Help me help my students and their families continue online and distant learning,
