Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
With 100% of my class qualifying as high poverty and "at-risk," it is essential that I provide them the best educational experiences I possibly can. My scholars are fun, energetic, creative, loving children that need as much support, guidance, and love as I can give them. Providing a safe, organized, accessible environment is the first step in ensuring that my students are excited and comfortable expressing themselves, taking risks, and growing.
Our Cubs are college bound!
This year is critical in their reading development, and a literacy filled environment will help us prepare them for college.
My Project
This project includes 4 tablets with protective cases as well as a printer with ink. These supplies are going to give my students such amazing and unique learning experiences! The printer will help us build our weekly class newsletter, while the tablets will be used daily during center rotations.
With limited technology in my classroom, these tablets will expose students to the technology they need to be familiar with to be successful in the real world.
Also, the apps and websites students will use will help them build their literacy skills on a daily basis. The tablets will truly help these students learn to read on grade level!
