This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An iPad will have a tremendous impact in the way I deliver my instruction since technology continues to evolve. I have heard a lot of positive feedback about how student motivation and learning appears to be enhanced by the use of an iPad because most students are visual learners.

With the use of an iPad, I will be able to quickly access the tools I need to teach and deliver engaging lessons.

With an iPad, I will be able to open files to annotate and add notes as I deliver my lessons for my students to see. I will be able to use different features to enhance my lessons live as I deliver them. I will have easy access to apps, timers, music, videos, student grades, etc.

In addition, having an iPad can help me move around the classroom freely and provide individualized instruction, especially to students with special needs. An iPad will help me stay organized. I will be able to save and track important information such as notes from meeting, in class incidents and parent phone calls. An iPad is portable and easy to carry around; therefore, I will be able to take attendance as I greet my students, add participation points and easily help those that need help with an assignment.
