Using Robots to Teach 21st Century Skills

My Project

This school year, I will be teaching STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) to all students K-5. As part of this brand new program, I will be teaching coding and robotics. These different types of robots will allow students of all ages to learn the basics of coding and sequencing before moving on to more advanced projects.

These robots can make integration seamless in the classroom.

My goal is to use these robots related to many different subject areas, including language arts, math, social studies, etc. This integrative approach gives students a deeper understanding of the content.

Since the STEAM program is brand new to our school, my students deserve great tools to learn with. I want them to look forward to their STEAM time each week, and getting to use robots will certainly excite them.
