My Project
Teaching literacy skills across content areas is a vital component of academic achievement. By engaging children in important literacy skills through short and engaging poems, students are likely to make connections, infer, and evaluate their learning across all curriculum.
I hope to encourage literacy skills by incorporating poems into daily lessons in all subject areas for our students in Kinder through fifth grade.
These diverse collections of poetry will help students make connections, visualize, and better understand the world around them.
