This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are so fascinated about learning! Everyday is a joy watching my students being proactive and being fully engaged in the task given to them. My students are hands on learners, the environment created for them is one that is student centered. They come to my classroom everyday eager to learn something new.

Students come to class on numerous occasion complaining that they would love to do more work independently with the use of a headphone.

Each student that comes to my class is excited about learning. We incorporate different learning strategies to get students fully engaged in the lessons. Such strategies include group work activities, the use of Nearpod and other game-based learning tools which requires the use of headphones. Students are placed in groups and work with groups on a daily basis.

Everyday I am so honored to have such amazing and creative students who are simply motivated to learn.

My Project

As an educator, it motivates me to see students fully engaged and fully monopolizing nearpod will provide students with the opportunity to be motivated about learning. Nearpod provides students with interactive and fun ways to learn a concept. It also has game-based learning apart of it as well where students can play to time to climb to answer questions based on topic. The use of the headphones will assist when watching videos that they will need to listen and answer questions based on video. Having students working in groups, using Nearpod and also communicating with classmates can change the dynamics of the learning environment.
