Help me give my students the opportunity to broaden their stem and mathematics interests by using their imaginations to build and create many things with the building manipulatives.
As a veteran teacher, I love to watch my students use their imagination when they are playing. They build the most brilliant things that I would never think about. I want the students to have more chances to do this.
We love to create and use our imaginations to build varies things like buildings, schools, airports, bridges, etc.
The magna tiles and other building manipulatives are the most popular building items in the classroom when it is free choice time. But because we only have a limited quantity, it is limited to how many students can play with them. It would be so nice to have more sets for the students to share.
I believe having the students use their imagination and problem solving skills to figure out things on their own is very important.
