This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are well behave students. and try really hard to learn English. Many of them have gone through difficult problems, leaving behind their native countries. Most of my students are from Ukraine, Russia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico.
My students need to have the opportunity to express their feelings through art and improve their mental health.
Many of them have mentioned that they feel overwhelmed because they are living in a new country. I want my students to improve their mental health through art with notebooks, art paper, and stencils by journaling, sketching, painting, or drawing.
