My Project
My students benefit from the use of hands on materials/art materials to help regulate their behavior throughout the day. Using sensory/and fun art items to help students calm down throughout the day, helps them remain engaged and attend to school tasks. A teachers pay teachers gift card will help me find craft ideas and projects for my students!
Many of our students are new to having a full school day, so we are building an art/calm down corner to utilize throughout the day.
During this structured learning time, students will be able to utilize various materials to help meet their sensory needs. We will also be using these materials to target speech and language acquisition. We will continue to utilize these art materials, paired with various sensory strategies, to help our students learn throughout the day
