My Students
Our neighborhood school is a close-knit community, geared towards education, and where parent participation is a backbone to our success.
Parents and community work hand in hand with the administration, educators, and staff at our school with one goal in mind, equipping the future.
Students come to school excited to learn and look forward to acquiring the skills and education to reach their future goals. As educators, we are constantly looking for novel ways to challenge and encourage our students to work to their potential and strive to go beyond.
My Project
I am currently using a dated iMac "Dinosaur" desktop from our school. The lag time and slow processing is putting my students and me to sleep as we get hypnotized by the swirly rainbow circle going round and round. We need your HELP with a massive upgrade. I want to give my virtual and in-person learners a quality day of learning, and this MacBook will assist me in doing just that! I will be using iMovie to get creative and produce Science and Social Studies slideshows in an effort to engage and make learning a lot more interesting. COVID-19 showed us that we, educators, have to become comfortable with technology and utilize all it has to offer to make connections with our students. This MacBook is the perfect instrument to accomplish a creative and quality day of learning! Please help me make this happen!
