This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you recall how fun it was as a child to do Art projects? My students go to Art rotation once a week, but I'd like to have more opportunities for them to be able to use critical thinking and collaborate daily in our classroom through creative expression. Will you help make it possible?

I teach an awesome group of first grade students.

They attend a Title I school district situated in a community populated with a level of high poverty. Most of them qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. These disadvantages, however, do not hinder their ability to learn nor do they use it as an excuse not to do their best. They are so eager to please me and will give it their all each day. I am excited each morning to see their bright smiling faces.

My Project

The laminator and laminating pouches will be utilized to protect and display Creative Art projects that my students have worked so hard at using their critical thinking skills as they have collaborated with each other. These resources will also enable us with the ability to proudly show our creativity to the whole school. The selected resources will also be so convenience to quickly laminate in the class and not have to go to the teacher resource room after school.

By contributing to this project, you will help provide resources to incorporate ART on a daily basis for my students that have little or no access to, due to their families’ economic status.

Art can be expressed in many forms and ways and I'd like my students to have exposure to be able to collaborate and use critical thinking skills to be creative whenever possible. Thank you for giving my students whatever child deserves to experience.
