This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new special education resource teacher with new students in a new room, we are in need of fun and engaging materials! The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students are going to help my students become successful in academic areas such as reading and math. Brand new phonics games will help students increase their reading skills tremendously by helping bridge the gap in their learning. The reading comprehension cubes will increase comprehension and attention to detail all while having fun. The use of the multiplication charts will help largely with my students becoming fluent with multiplication which allows for students to be able to easily connect to other math content. As a new resource teacher, I am also in need of a few supplies to help track student data, organize my classroom for optimal usage and be able to comfortably move about the room to ensure my students are learning.
By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student academic success and their confidence!
My students will be able to focus on their academic materials and not have to be concerned about whether it's going to fall apart, have missing pieces or not work. All students are deserving of having new, fun, and exciting materials to boost their engagement and excitement for learning.
All these resources will help bridge learning gaps, increase student success and help my students build confidence. As a special education resource teacher, it is very important to me to make sure all my students are able to learn in a fun, organized, and safe environment!
