The students in my school are a vibrant and creative group of children who constantly amaze me with the huge scope of their interests and talents. When we put learning materials in front of them or when we showcase their work, we want it to be as colorful and engaging as all of them are. But truth be told, easy and reliable access to quality color printing in schools is a rare beast, the good color printer a bit like the holy grail of educator supplies.
If given a choice, no one wants the 8-pack of crayons when the 64-pack is available.
Having a reliable color printer will mean that story excerpts with illustrations for reading tutoring can be printed in the colors they were designed in, that achievement certificates will be as stunning as the students who earn them, and computer-based designs can be printed out to show off at home that same night.
