My Students
My wonderful students are a diverse group of 11th and 12th graders from a myriad of different cultural and social-economic backgrounds. They are joined together in the common goals of learning and understanding.
My classes are a mix of US History and US government.
The students love the material and look for anyway to be engaged with the lessons.
They are gaining a interest in History and Government and I want to do everything I can to enhance that interest.
My Project
These materials will allow my students to see the original documents from which our country was built on. They can see the works in their entirety. Students want to see the physical works referenced in their texts.
By having physical copies of the materials, it will allow the students to see how the texts were written as well study their meaning.
The students get to read about the works which created the country but rarely get to see them physically. By having a classroom set the will be able to handle the works to better immerse them in the lessons.
