it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project
Innovation High School is a Title I school located in East Harlem.
Over 30% of our population are Special Education students and almost 90% receive free and reduced lunches.
Our special education students are working so hard alongside their teachers to fill in foundational gaps in their learning.
They are determined to not let their socio-economic disadvantages impact their path to reaching their goals.
As a special education educator, I have found that supporting mental and physical wellness needs often has a direct positive impact on their attendance and academic data.
However, access to certain supports can be costly! Your donation will help bring
materials designed to support Special Education physical and mental wellness needs into my classroom.
The donation will be used to purchase a laptop that will be used for teacher lesson planning and instruction.
Particularly laptop will be used to create lessons and student facing materials related to mental and physical wellness for students with disabilities.
