This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As Read Across America Week approaches, we’re excited to celebrate the importance of reading and writing with our students. This week is a great opportunity to inspire them to love reading, be creative, and see how important these skills are for success in school and life. We want to make it a fun and motivating experience where students can enjoy books, participate in writing activities, and feel encouraged to keep improving their skills.

To make this celebration truly special, we need your support.

We are asking for donations to provide students with prizes for various contests and small incentives to keep them motivated throughout the week. These prizes will be awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding effort in reading challenges, writing contests, and other engaging activities designed to spark their imagination and boost their skills.

These materials, ranging from books, gift cards, educational tools, to small treats, will be used to encourage friendly competition, reward creativity, and ensure every student feels recognized for their participation. The incentives are also a powerful tool to make reading and writing an enjoyable experience that students will want to return to long after the week has ended.

With your help, we can make Read Across America Week a memorable and impactful event. By providing these prizes and incentives, we will inspire our students to develop a passion for reading and writing that will serve them for years to come.
