Upping the Game in World Language Learning

Help me give my students a powerful foolproof experience in the French world language class with a charging station, Chromebook computers, chargers, mobile cart, and a lock.

My Project

World language learning in the 21st century is full of potential and very rewarding for students because of the intersection with technology. My French language learners love to learn with technology because they can make instant connection with the language, the people, and their culture as they employ the power of technology. On my part, I love to hear and watch students engage and explore each learning content presented to them using technology- and non-technology based tools.

Although my school district provides a level of technology access to the students, in real time, not all students have functional computers or charging devices they need to learn optimally while in the classroom.

It is for this reason that I am seeking the opportunity to grant access to all students in my French language class by equipping the classroom with loaner Chromebooks, a charging cart, and chargers. These will help ensure that my students have functional computers that could be readily charged as needed.

I equally look for the opportunity to bring these technology tools as close to the learners as possible with a fully equipped mobile cart and a locking device that will provide continuity of use. Both I and my classroom of learners would be highly appreciative of all efforts to grant such level of access to students.

I sincerely thank you in advance for yet another chance to serve the needs of my students.
