it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Albert Einstein's quote, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is dumb." Albert Einstein taught a powerful message to students with dyslexia. I want to have a full class set of this powerful book in Spanish to use with my dual-language students. I feel that students in fifth grade need to make sure they understand the world and what is knowledgeable and kind to others could accomplish.
Students need uplifting literature that will not only guide them through life but that they will be able to connect.
Many times students are afraid of asking for help because they are afraid of being ridiculed by their peers. It is time to bring literature that students can connect with and motivate them to help make a better world.
