Uplift and Inspire Middle Schoolers

Help me give my students a fun interactive and supportive virtual environment with the computer microphone, speaker, and cards and envelopes to help support my students and help them feel connected in a virtual environment.

My Project

The world is always changing especially when it comes to technology. Our students need to figure out how to function in a digital world. Out of the covid-pandemic a virtual academy was born to better serve the students who need a virtual learning environment. That means as a teacher I need to find new and innovative ways to help teach and impact my students. This project will help me in many ways. I work at a virtual school, so reaching out and supporting students is done in different ways. This project will help me meet the needs of various students.

I have students, that struggle with anxiety, different physical and mental health issues, and other external struggles.

All of the items in my project are to help students get that connection with me, the teacher, as well as each other. For example; we help the students participate in a National We the People program, with the use of the microphone, speakers, table runner, and folders, which allows me to make a more interactive and fun in-person experience. Then because I am virtually creating fun activities to encourage students to come and participate. Creating diamond painting stickers they can make and use in projects in the class. All of those items will help me create an inclusive and creative environment for school. This project will lay the groundwork for sustainability. With many of my students struggling with mental or physical health issues, the positive stickers, fun stickers, confetti, envelopes, and laminator will allow me to create birthday or thinking of you cards that I can send out to students. This will help build the framework for a fun creative way to teach and interact with my students but in a sustainable way that I can use for years to come.
