My Project

Hi all, and thank you for considering funding my project! The middle school band is a fantastic place for many students to find a home. A place to be creative, challenged, and collaborative with many of their peers.

My goal for this project is to provide quality equipment for my percussion students and therefore encourage a deeper learning of foundational skills such as rhythms and notes, and push their passion to create higher levels of music.

My students are strong and resilient and when they become passionate about a project they work hard to create their best. These quality materials will open the door to talk about the tone quality, blending with neighbors, and higher level thinking skills that were not originally achievable with basic tools. This will revolutionize the way I and my percussion students speak about music.
