At Southern Hills Middle School, kids are required to take P.E. Because of the number of students at the school and our complicated schedule, Many of our P.E.
classes have over 45-55 students.
It isn't easy to get the money to have the equipment for basketballs and footballs. This money would really help to replace many of our basketballs and footballs that we still use but are old and have very little grip. The additional footballs and basketballs will also increase the activity time for my students as they will not have to share 4-6 to a ball it will be now 2-3 per ball. This equiptment also can be used to help keep students physically active during their lunch since they are indoor/outdoor pieces of balls.
The flags we use for so many games are also old and many of them do not stay on the children because the clip and belt are old. This money would help make the games more fun as students will not have to worry about their flag falling off as that is a current issue.
