My Students
Our room is full of engaged, smiling, and squinting students. Squinting students? Yes, our poor old overhead projector (on the days that it decides to work) projects a fuzzy image that makes all of my students believe that they need to be rushed to the optometrist.
My students are growing quicker than I ever expected.
They surprise me every day with their ability to learn and apply their new gained knowledge to the rest of the world. Our school is a charter school in Chicago, Illinois that is committed to giving an unwavering high-quality, college prep elementary education is to underserved communities.
My Project
With our new document camera our students will be able to participate in many activities together, including reading stories, solving story problems, and writing new endings to stories we have read. My students will be able to clearly see what is being projected on the board.
Your donations, however large or small, would greatly assist in my instruction of all second grade subjects.
