This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a high needs, diverse population in our school that has recently started our fifth season of ESports! Our challenge has been that the school technology we have access to can not adequately support the games we compete with, so our performance has suffered. We want to continue to grow and support all students interested in parpticipating! This will allow more of my student to play because they do not have access to the technology necessary to completely participate and connect with others. By supporting ESports, an interest in computer science has started to grow as students learn how to apply their gaming interests to real life. Supporting this cause will allow students over several years experience the thrill and motivation of ESports with the support of their school!
