Updated Technology for an Updated Classroom Part 2

My Project

My students are highly motivated young adults who are taking an active role in their education and community. Despite many obstacles, they remain positive and focused.

Our school is a magnet school in the district with a medical focus.

My students live in various parts of the city. Many of my students will go on to pursue higher education and careers in the medical field. As their teacher, my goal is to create an environment that fuels their desire to learn and challenges them. After being virtual last year due to COVID, we are excited to be back in person at a brand new building!

We are excited to be in a brand new building this year and would like to update our technology resources. An iPad Pencil and Apple TV Box will be wonderful resources for our new classroom iPad. We use technology to prepare for the SATs, state tests, and the AP U.S. History exam in May because we can download test prep apps and other resources. We will also use the iPad for independent learning stations in our class as students sometimes forget their laptops so it will be an extra device for those that need it. I would love to increase student engagement and provide them with the resources to be successful.
