Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students in our school choose to be involved in sports or other after-school clubs. Every season, we fill the rosters of our offered sports and compete with local teams. For some shirts, we have our kids purchase, but our sports jerseys are not one of them––they are used from year to year.

Kids LOVE playing on the teams but many of our sports jerseys are aging and beginning to deteriorate from years of use.

The t-shirt press and heat transfer vinyl from this project would allow us to create, fix, or replace our sports uniforms as needed and make other school shirts for clubs. If funded, we will begin replacing sports uniforms ASAP, with girls volleyball being first on the list.
