This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dear donors, I teach a 5th grade in the Los Angeles Area.

My classroom consists of students with different learning styles and levels as I teach my grade levels full inclusion class.

This means that I also have students with individualized needs and support. One way that I am able to support all my students is by purchasing lessons that include graphic organizers, modified lessons to ensure all students can learn, and it also provides rubrics and examples for students to use as a checklist or model. Teacher Pay Teachers is a platform where teachers create lessons, mini plans, or projects to ensure students have the skills and tools needed to thrive. The lessons I plan on purchasing will allow me to plan my small group teaching, as the lessons also come in various lexile levels. This supports students in their level while challenging them.

In addition, I also plan on purchasing updated projects as I am a hands on teacher. I believe in order for students to learn is by allowing them to research, create, and present their learning in various means. With the tpt giftcard, I can also order project based learning lessons where students get to learn more hands on.
