Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After my first year of teaching, I have a better understanding of what will help create a better and more organized learning environment for my students! It is my goal to go into this school year with an organized space that gets everyone excited to be there.
All of my requested items will be used to either help organize learning materials or create a more welcoming space to get my students to be excited about learning.
For example, there are a lot of materials that need to be organized to make the classroom seem orderly, which is why I requested different kinds of storage bins. Furniture and decor like the fluorescent light covers and side table also help with organizing the room while making it a more cozy space.
Also, my students love seeing the content they are learning in color! Instead of seeing their work in black and white, colorful paperwork gets them more engaged and happy to be learning. So, I requested a color printer to give them anchor charts and other learning tools in color!
