This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our pre-k 3's and 4's would benefit from having their very own butterfly cup to observe, describe, and discuss the butterfly lifecycle. We will read several non-fiction books and learn facts about butterflies. While learning these facts students will be able to use scientific names for each step of the lifecycle while they are observing them happening! After the butterflies hatch, we will take them outside to our school garden and release them. We will be able to talk about the environment they live in and how they help the flowers in the Spring.
