This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hard working and optimistic about the future. Our school strives to promote and cultivate a college-ready mindset in every student because only a quarter of of my students report having a family member attend college.
If you ask my students what motivates them to succeed, they would talk about their family.
Despite facing many challenges, my students come to school ready to learn and be their best in order to make themselves, their family, and their community proud. Every day I am humbled that I get to be their teacher because they recognize the power of education.
My Project
I am asking for a set of stools so that students have some creative options for sitting in class. Stools are an ideal option for my class because they don't take up a lot of space, they are stackable, and they allow students to see over others' heads.
Comfortable, sturdy, and reliable stools will provide students with different seating options and allow them have choice in their seat.
I know that students will love these seats and enjoy having options of different seats to use in the classroom. These stools will also give students a chance to move around easily and arrange themselves in various sized groups.
