This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Board games offer opportunities for early learning. Board games are an easy way to encourage healthy brain development in older kids and teens. They boost their language skills. They sharpen your child's focus. Board games teach the value of teamwork and soothe anxiety. They show kids how to be a good loser. Board games are a great way to unplug from technology.

Playing board games often involves negotiating, collaborating, and resolving conflicts with fellow players.

These activities foster effective communication, empathy, and teamwork. They require players to communicate and exchange information to solve mysteries or achieve collective goals. Through these interactions, players learn how to express their ideas, listen to others, and work together towards a common objective.

This promotes cognitive flexibility, the ability to switch between different tasks or mental sets, which is crucial for cognitive development.
