Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my advisory class need enriching activities for when they have completed all of their homework. Rather than turning to social media for entertainment, I want them to play games that require strategy and collaboration.
Having students engaging with each other through play will help strengthen our community.
We are continuing to work through the trauma of learning through a pandemic and many students are still struggling to make connections with their peers. By creating a space with fun games, I hope students meet new people so they feel more comfortable working collaboratively during Algebra.
