Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the proud teacher of 18 wonderful students. My students are hard workers. They help each other which is great, because they are learning to work as a team.
My students are economically disadvantaged, but their families are very supportive in their child's learning.
They come each day with a desire to learn and succeed. I want the best for my students. I want them to succeed in their lives and be our future doctors, teachers, nurses, lawyers etc.
My Project
My outstanding students will be able to utilize these materials to enhance their understanding of math concepts. They need daily visual reinforcement of objectives such as, place value, money, counting to 1,200 as well as knowing how to add and subtract up to 3 digits. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student mastery of objectives , you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. They are required to take many assessments and these materials will help them to recall and utilize the strategies necessary for mastery.
