Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our diverse and vibrant school community is seeking your support to create a rich multilingual library for our English Learners, especially those in the New Arrivals and EL programs. Our goal is to provide these students with access to literature that reflects their cultural backgrounds, fosters language development, and promotes a love for reading.

We need multilingual books.

We aim to purchase a diverse selection of high-quality books in various languages spoken by our EL students. These books will cater to different proficiency levels and interests.

Your generous contribution will boost language development. Exposure to multilingual books will support language acquisition and proficiency in both English and the students' native languages.

Students will make cultural connections. These books will celebrate diversity, allowing students to see themselves reflected in literature and fostering a sense of pride in their cultural heritage.

These books will encourage a love for reading. By providing engaging and culturally relevant reading material, we hope to instill a lifelong love for reading in our English Learners.
