Our school is full of amazing diversity and we want our class library to reflect that. We're looking to add books that will engage our English Language Learners (ELLs), support our Gender and Sexuality Alliance GSA Club, and enrich our independent reading choices in ELA. By providing books that connect with our ELL students’ cultures and experiences, we can help them fall in love with reading while improving their language skills. For our GSA Club, having literature that represents and affirms their identities, is crucial for promoting acceptance and understanding. In Language Arts, diverse books will allow all students to explore different perspectives, building empathy and critical thinking. Your support will help us create a welcoming and inclusive space where every student feels valued and inspired.
