This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Incorporating the use of a treasure box into each class period has been a transformative experience in my Physical Education class. Initially, I selected students based on their outstanding sportsmanship, excellence and effort, but what began as a personal recognition quickly evolved into something truly special. Witness the enthusiasm and camaraderie among my students, they started nominating each other for the same commendable qualities. This organic shift not only fostered a sense of peer recognition but also created a supportive environment where every achievement, big or small, was celebrated.
As a result of this heartwarming development, I have found myself awarding more treasures than anticipated, which has nearly depleted our supplies.
Without adequate resources, I fear this invaluable practice ,which has become an integral part of our class culture, may suffer. Your contribution would help replenish our treasure box, ensuring that we can continue to acknowledge and encourage the exceptional efforts and positive behaviors of our students.
