Unlocking the Power of Reading Aloud to Students!

Help me give my students the opportunity to have read-aloud books in the classroom. Learning is more effective when there is interaction!

My Project

In a world filled with technology, one of the most important experiences I can provide is to read aloud to students. I'm sure we can all relate to having a book read to us by a family member or teacher, and how special that time was. I want my students to have those fond memories with a hint of learning, too.

Our school has been selected to add an additional 20 days to our calendar.

This will give my students 20 more days to firm up skills and have new experiences. The books I have selected will allow me to create book bins for the first four weeks of instruction for my Kindergarten through Second grade classes. In addition to providing the books, I will create activities and journaling opportunites to extend the learning.
