This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students! They are bright, curious, and eager to learn. However, many of them come from low-income families and cannot afford graphing calculators. This puts them at a disadvantage in math class, where graphing calculators are an essential tool for success.
I am requesting donations to purchase Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE 10-Digit Graphing Calculator Mints for my students.
These calculators will allow them to visualize functions and equations, and to solve complex problems more effectively.
With graphing calculators, my students will be able to:
Explore mathematical concepts in a more concrete way
Develop their problem-solving skills
Prepare for college and careers in STEM fields
My goal is to provide all of my students with the opportunity to succeed in math. Graphing calculators are an essential tool for success, and I believe that all students deserve access to them.
What makes my students special is their determination and resilience. They come from challenging backgrounds, but they are always willing to work hard and learn. I believe that with the right resources, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
