Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The digital art supplies I’m requesting, such as drawing tablets, styluses, headphones, mice, and mouse pads will significantly enhance my students' ability to express their creativity in a modern, digital medium. With these tools, students will not only gain proficiency in digital art techniques but also learn important skills like graphic design, animation, and digital illustration. These tools bridge the gap between traditional art forms and the rapidly evolving world of technology, preparing them for future careers in the arts, media, and technology industries. They will be able to bring their artistic visions to life with greater precision and creativity, expanding their creative potential beyond what traditional art supplies can offer.
My main goal is to empower my students to explore and develop their artistic skills in a digital environment.
I want them to learn how to use technology as a medium for self-expression, and gain an understanding of the digital tools used by professional artists. In addition, I aim to foster collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills as they work on digital projects, learning how to iterate and refine their designs. Ultimately, I want my students to leave the class not only with improved art skills, but also with a strong sense of confidence in their ability to work with technology creatively.
My students are incredibly diverse and come from a variety of backgrounds, each bringing a unique perspective to the classroom. They have an immense passion for creativity and a strong desire to learn and grow as artists. They are curious, dedicated, and eager to explore new ways of expressing themselves. Providing them with the opportunity to work with digital art tools will open up new possibilities for them to engage with the world around them and help them realize their full potential as artists.
