My Project
Our goal is to progress monitor students who are below grade level at least once every other week to ensure they are making progress toward our end of year benchmark. Students who are on grade level are progress monitored once a month to ensure they are still making growth. It is critical that we have updated technology that will allow for accurate and efficient testing. This ipad will be used by multiple paras when they are helping to monitor reading growth at our school for all of our students.
Our students are eager to know how they did after completing an assessment and are invested in their learning.
We have seen the impact that progress monitoring can have on our instruction and the growth of our students. Many students are tracking and graphing their own growth from these assessments and are encouraged by being able to visualize their progress.
The updated technology will help us reach more students in a timely manner and will not waste instructional time waiting for the assessment to load or having to wait for updates on the current technology we use.
