My Project
I have amazing, creative, and hard-working fourth graders. More than half of my students come from lower socioeconomic homes. Many of my kids are MLL and/or qualify for special education. I have the best students and want to give them the best! Because of my students' daily obstacles, some find education very challenging. Many come to school without their basic needs being met, so it is hard for them to focus on math, science, or reading. I try to think outside the box so my kids are engaged and want to learn.
Virtual reality brings the world to the classroom.
One of the best ways for students to learn is to experience and apply their learning to real life. By having VRs in our classroom, my students will be able to solve math problems from their experiences, see and experience things that we have read about, and write better because they will be able to use more details to describe their writing. Our class would be beyond appreciative of your consideration of supporting us.
