My Project

2nd graders thrive when engaged with interactive learning experiences. I saw the need to incorporate STEM activities into my daily instruction as I witnessed longer school days, more rigorous learning standards and an increased emphasis on testing. I found that my students' learning was suffering and I was "losing them". STEM is a concept that I've embraced as I've seen the impact it has had on my students' growth over the past several years. The items requested will foster my students' critical thinking and increase engagement with the goal of leading them to be competitive in the ever changing workforce.

The items included in this project will foster the love of science, technology, engineering and math, thus preparing students for a bright future.

My 2nd grade students will learn by building with various materials and work together to engineer AMAZING creations.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement, you will ultimately help to develop creative thinkers, natural problem solvers, and enable the next generation of innovators.
