My Project

Meet my developmental kindergarten class! Students in our program participate in a yearlong self-contained special education program designed to prepare students with special needs for regular kindergarten the following year. Our class learns best through play-based, hands-on experiences.

Help us update our classroom puzzles which are used multiple times daily for student stations.

Our students love the feeling of success that comes with completing a puzzle. Through puzzle work, students practice problem-solving and independent work skills. The lock set puzzles will allow students to practice fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills. The large floor puzzles will allow students to practice communication skills while working with peers and support gross motor skills.

Our class needs a large variety of puzzles to use every day. Our current puzzle selection has been worn and damaged by general student use over the last 10 years but also by several years of intensive COVID cleaning protocols. Our students deserve fresh engaging puzzle experiences they are excited to use!
