My Project
By requesting a class set of the timeless classic, "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle, we aim to provide an immersive literary experience that will transform our students' learning journey.
The requested items, a class set of "A Wrinkle in Time," will have a profound impact on our students' learning in several ways.
By following along with the text during our read-alongs, students will not only improve their reading comprehension but also develop critical thinking skills. The vivid imagery and imaginative storytelling in "A Wrinkle in Time" will captivate their minds, transporting them to a world filled with adventure, friendship, and the triumph of good over evil.
Our project goals revolve around fostering a love for reading, improving reading comprehension, and fostering empathy. Firstly, by introducing our students to this beloved novel, we aim to ignite a passion for reading that extends beyond the classroom. "A Wrinkle in Time" offers a captivating narrative that will inspire our students to explore other literary works and engage with storytelling on a deeper level.
Improving reading comprehension is another key objective of our project. By reading along with the text, students will deepen their understanding of the story's plot, characters, and themes. Through the experiences of the characters in the novel, we hope to foster empathy among our students and cultivate a sense of understanding and acceptance.
