My Project
This is my second year at a Title I public school that provides students arts opportunities. I currently teach middle school chorus at the end of the day. Every two months, I find myself going out to purchase folders because the ones they are currently using do not last. They are made out of paper and easily rip when putting music in/out.
These folders will give my students the confidence to shine on stage while holding professional folders.
These music folders will also protect sheet music from damage, such as tears or spills. Sturdy folders can withstand frequent use and transportation. This year, my chorus sang at three nursing homes as part of our outreach initiative. Their current folders were hanging by a thread.
Using these new folders will also foster growth in musicianship and responsibility. My students will take pride in their music and their ability to keep it organized and accessible. Please consider donating and sharing this project, and thank you in advance!
