This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The books in this project are very unique. They either demonstrate excellence in illustrations, the area of read-aloud, have unique characters, or are celebrated for being great in their category. They are recommended titles online that will be suitable for a wide range of students.
The books are as unique and special as the students I serve.
Most are picture books, but some are also chapter or graphic novels. Some are representative of Native Nations or other cultures. Others are holiday titles or discuss topics such as bullying. My goal is for students to easily find books that are of interest to them!
