This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a science magnet, so many of our students have an interest in sciences. I teach 12th grade research and experimentation courses, AP Biology ( 10-12), and sponsor a science club. I love to see my students get a chance to be creative while going through the scientific process.

My goal is for my students to see that they can do authentic science experiments, learn data literacy, and have fun in the process!

They research and design an experiment using their research skills and creativity. They are excited young scientists, and when given the chance, they can do amazing things!

The 3D printer, filament and other supplies will allow my students to complete projects that combine technology and ecology.
