My Students

I work in a school where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. The school is located in a low-income area and faces many challenges.

I am an Autistic Support Teacher.

My awesome students have special needs that are focused on to provide them with an outstanding education.

Through your donations, these supplies will be used throughout the school year to continually educate our children.

I'm thrilled about the idea that through your donations, you will help provide me with school supplies that will make a real difference in my classroom and kick off what promises to be a great school year.

My Project

Classroom dividers will provide clear visual and physical boundaries to the students on the Autism spectrum in the work areas. This school year I have 10 special students with very different educational needs. My classroom is in need of dividers to section off our work centers and reduce distractions.

Currently, we use cabinets and book cases to separate our work centers.

However, the large furniture poses safety concerns. In our classroom, it is important to have a safe learning environment that is conducive to learning.

Children with Autism may need breaks or a private area to calm down. Our students benefit from dividers as it can be difficult for them to focus on their work if another scholar is taking a break, on the computer or working with the teacher.
