This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a diverse population of almost entirely minority students in attendance, including many English learners, and several students who are barely speaking any English. We have great staff members who love the kids and support them in all aspects of their education. Safety is our number one priority in my school.

We hope to provide a well-rounded music education, where music class is “cool,” and kids look forward to coming to class.

We are finding ourselves in need of some supplies to help maintain our growing music program.

My Project

We made our own uniform shirts this fall and unfortunately, we ran out of smalls and mediums! We could use some more of that size, as many of our young musicians tend to hover in the small to medium sizes. Your generosity would help support music in our wonderful school.

Our kids will wear these uniforms at every performance as well as at school to promote school pride and ownership of the music program.

Your contribution will help support music in an underserved community with wonderful young musicians that work hard each day. Thank you for considering a donation to our school.
