My Project
At our school, many families face financial hardships that make it difficult to afford the basic necessities, including school uniforms. As a Title I school, we serve a large population of students who rely on school support to meet their daily needs. Uniforms are not just a dress code requirement, but they promote equity, reduce distractions, and help students focus on learning.
Unfortunately, several of our students arrive at school wearing worn-out, ill-fitting, or non-uniform clothing, which can negatively impact their self-esteem and make them feel out of place.
This project will provide new uniform shirts in various sizes for students in need, ensuring that every child can come to school dressed for success, regardless of their family's financial situation.
With your support, we will be able to provide short-sleeve and long-sleeve polo-style uniform shirts in our school colors. These shirts will be distributed discreetly to students who need them, helping to foster a sense of belonging and pride in their school.
